Check out who other people follow. For example, the wonderful author William Dalrymple: I'm not going to look at his 42,000 followers, but I found lots of people to follow by seeing the people he follows. [next]

Another way you can find people to follow is by check their lists. Not all Twitter users have lists, but when they do, lists can be a very valuable way to find people to connect with. You'll see lists next to the "Following - Followers - Favorites" if the person has any public lists. I'll have more to say about Lists in the next slide!
